After earning her business degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Megan embarked on a transformative journey that took her to South America before settling in Colorado. There, she founded be.Media House, a global creative marketing firm known for its impactful campaigns and creative solutions.

Returning to her Minnesota roots, Megan revitalized a historic hotel into the stylish Hotel Rapids and launched the Little Lazy Lodge, a cherished venue for events and celebrations. Her love for storytelling and community engagement led to the creation of Lake and Company magazine in 2015, which has since grown into a nationally recognized publication. This success also inspired the launch of Lake Bride magazine, focusing on weddings in Minnesota.
